      We cannot say enough good things about how AMAZING our experience in Africa was, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Explore Active! From their travel safari guides to lodging staff, we were delightfully overwhelmed by how amazing this team was. Our travel agent helped curate both our safari itinerary and beach itinerary exactly to what my husband and I wanted for our honeymoon. They informed us about what to pack, what to wear, cultural aspects to be mindful of, specific rules of the country, arranged all our travel transfers (safari guides, airport pickups, extra excursion travel, etc.), and made the entire trip so easy. From the moment we stepped off the plane to the moment we got dropped back off, Explore Active had us covered. Our safari guide, Stephan, became a friend not just a tour guide. He was so informative about the general culture, the animals, the parks, the best places to spot animals and got us positioned perfectly anytime we spotted anything. He was very easy to communicate with, every morning, he picked us up. He and the truck were cleaned up and ready for action. We loved how excited he was for the adventure he took us on every day. We hope that when we come back in a few years, we can have him guide us again!
      You absolutely have to book the hot air balloon ride of the Serengeti; it was truly surreal and a magical way to get a totally different view of the safari. Worth every single extra penny!
      Explore Active packed us lunches for our safaris every day, which were great! Loads of food and tons of options, each lodge’s staff was so friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. Each lodge also did an amazing job at really celebrating our honeymoon and making it feel special with beautiful decorations in our room each day when we returned. It was so sweet!
      In Zanzibar, our room was set up with a champagne & fruit plate, which was so special.
      We really want to thank the whole team for every part of our once-in-a-lifetime adventure and a beautiful honeymoon!

      We had an amazing safari experience in Tarangire, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Joshua. He always stopped exactly where we needed so we could fully enjoy watching the animals and take photos. He never rushed us and made sure we had enough time to observe everything. Joshua shared a lot of interesting information about the animals and the park, which made the experience even more special and educational. He is truly an ideal guide and an excellent driver. Throughout the safari we felt completely safe and comfortable.

      Amazing experience with Explore Active
      Best Safari ever , We’ve done safaris in Tanzania I can honestly say Explore Active ‘s vehicle was the best we’ve experienced. Spacious, extremely clean, smooth ride, full air conditioning, and reliable WiFi throughout the day. It felt more executive than rugged.

      Samwel was outstanding. He reads the terrain and animal behavior with experience you can’t fake. We saw lions, rhinos, elephants, and a cheetah – and we never felt rushed.

      The hot lunch was a surprise highlight. Properly prepared food, served hot in the middle of Ngorongoro Crater. That level of detail shows you’re dealing with a company that understands premium travel.

      Highly recommend for travelers who want comfort without compromising the wildlife experience.
